Essie: Luxedo

Hello Ladies! 

"Luxedo"  is from Essie's 2010 Winter collection. This is a very dark purple that is rich and creamy! an absolute must for the fall season. Application was a dream although removal was a bit of a pain leaving behind lots of darkness on the cuticles-beware! 2 coats, no topcoat. 

China Glaze: Purple Panic

Yuck! What a wet Monday it has been in South Florida! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. 

" Purple Panic " by China Glaze is a gorgeous bright neon pink with some blue-ish shimmers!  This baby sparkles beautifully in the light! I love it's fun and quirky tone--this is a real "stand out"shade! You most definitely need a topcoat or else is will dry like most other neons. 2 coats, seche vite topcoat.

" Done out in Deco " is probably one of my favorite OPI colors. It's from the 2009 South Beach collection and being from Miami, it has a special place in my heart. It's a dusty lilac purple creme with some definite blue undertones. It is actually a little bit more purple IRL. LOVE!

OPI and Apple Pie

" OPI and Apple Pie " I love this color. It reminds me of Fall, Thanksgiving and yummy food! A gorgeous burnt orange creme. 2 coats no topcoat. 

Essie: Luscious Lips

Today, I present you with 

" Luscious Lips " a delicate and very girly pale jelly pink. I'm not typically a fan of these light pinks because they tend to take tons of coats for opacity. This one however only took 3 and would look nice with a french tip.

OPI: Let Me Entertain You

Hey yall! 

" Let Me Entertain You "  from the 2010 OPI Holiday Burlesque collection. Bright pink micro-glitter. This one did not photograph to well, it is a lot more sparkly IRL. Nonetheless, it is a pretty girly shade that is pretty opaque. 3 coats, no topcoat. 

China Glaze: Zombie Zest

" Zombie Zest "  from China Glaze's 2010 Halloween "Awakening" collection. It's a mossy green jelly with tons of iridescent glitter. Perfect polish to wear when you're eating brains! (jk!) I have read it is a much cheaper and dead-on-dupe to Spa Ritual's Optical Illusion. 

I'M BACK! + OPI " A Grape Fit "

Hello ladies!

I have been away for quite some time. I had to have surgery back in February and ever since then, I was busy recovering and then became overwhelmed with new job responsibilities and a new and hectic school semester. Nonetheless, I have been still been avidly collecting polish and expanding my inventory. I want to do some updating to the site and change the layout, so you will probably see some changes over the next few weeks (hopefully). 

" A Grape Fit " one of my favorite OPI colors. From the Paige Premium Denim: 2009 Brights collection. Dusty lavender creme. Gorgeous application 2 coats, no top coat. 

oo oh, diamond girl!

Buenos dias!

I only own about 3 or 4 polished from the OPI DS collection. I have several lemmings among them including the HTF Mystery. Anyways, here is a swatch of one of the babies I do have...

 DS Diamond--Although, it's called "diamond" it's not exactly the color you would expect a diamond to be. Instead, this girl is an almost muted/subtle purple-ish holographic polish. Unlike some of the other colors in the collection, this one isn't as holographic as I'd like it but still looks pretty good. It's application was perfect requiring only 2 coats FULL COVERAGE! I'm sure if I wore this out, the sunlight would make it sparkle.

Lucky Lucky Lavender Friday!

Hey ladies! Happy Friday!!

As promised, today I have for you OPI's Lucky Lucky Lavender from the 2010 Hong Kong Collection and then the polish layered over the ever so lovely Glass Pink.

Lucky Lucky Lavender is a gorgeous pale violet/pink creme. Many other bloggers might agree this is much more pink that it is lavender but still awesome! It is actually very similar to Panda-monium Pink from the same collection but LLL is a bit darker. Application was alright, a little streaky but not too bad--shown above with 3 coats, no topcoat.

For all my anti-sheer readers, here she is layered over Glass Pink *ooo ahhh* it gives the polish a completely different, almost elegant-like twist. I love it! this is with just 1 coat of GP and it sparkles so beautifully in the sunlight. 

This was actually my valentines day manicure--what do you think?
